Hello! I’m Carmel, the proud founder of Savon Lakay, a brand born from love, necessity, and a deep connection to my Haitian lineage. Alongside my mother, we embarked on this journey to create skincare products that truly feel like home—“Savon Lakay” translates from Creole to “soap from home,” and we want you to feel that warmth and comfort every time you use our products.
Our story began when my daughter struggled with eczema. Despite numerous doctor visits and countless medications, nothing seemed to provide her relief. Driven by love and a desire to help her granddaughter, my mom and I set out on a mission to create a solution that would alleviate her itching and skin discomfort. Thus, Savon Lakay was born. What separates Savon Lakay, from most brands is, our body butter bath soaps are made to order, we take great pride in that.
